- Road test vehicle. Lift vehicle and inspect brakes- Front brakes are worn (-1mm pad life remaining). Recommend replace front brakes w/ new pads, and rotors. Rear brake shoes are worn, and cracking. Rear wheel cylinders are leaking. Recommend replace rear brakes w/ new shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, and service rear brake drums (drums are good at this time). Rear brake drums require new spindle nuts. Vehicle is due for oil service.
- Remove and replace front brakes w/ new pads, and rotors. Clean and lube contact points. Check operation.
- Remove and replace rear brake shoes w/ new hardware. Replace rear wheel cylinders. Clean and lube contact points, and adjust rear brakes. Clean and service rear brake drums (not able to machine w/ sealed wheel bearing in drum). Check operation and road test. Brakes are good at this time.
- Flush brake system . Clears all fluid of master cylinder, abs controller if applicable, hoses, lines and calipers.
- Top off fluids. Set tire pressures to spec. Reset maintenance indicator.
