- Found major oil leak from front of motor. Valve cover gasket is punched out at multiple points, pinched between head and valve cover. Will need to remove covers and replace as needed
- Once front cover was removed, found head material is broken off in large chunk/missing. This is in the primary sealing area of the valve cover gasket. Unable to perform repair. Advised customer that head replacement would be needed. Customer had stated that the engine was replaced with a used unit sometime ago. Customer declined any further repairs. Customer acknowledges that engine components will not be reassembled. Vehicle will need to be towed out.
