- Scan computer for DTC codes- P0430 Catalytic converter insufficient reduction bank 2. Install scanner to read live data, and road test vehicle- found both (bank 1 & bank 2) front catalytic converters are working good while driving, but not working well/ testing weak @ idle (insufficient reduction). Bank 2 catalytic converter is failing, and bank 1 is testing weak (will fail soon). Recommend replace both front or at least bank 2 catalytic converter manifold assembly. *Note* Bank 2 catalytic converter is back ordered from Volvo dealer w/ no current ETA. Vehicle inspection- no oil sticker, rear tires are almost @ wear bars, and front tires are mismatched. Vehicle drives good overall.
